Jennifer , RVT

Practice Manager

Jennifer, a Registered Veterinary Technician has been with our hospital since fall of 2013.  She has a BBA from Greensboro College and Veterinary Technology Degree from Central Carolina Community College.  Animals have always been big part of her life.  As a career path she enjoyed working with animals and the business side of things so she decided managing an animal hospital was a perfect fit for her. She is active in her community by being an elected member of the Archdale Trinity School Tax Council and being part of the Trinity 4H.  Jennifer and her husband, daughter, and son have a small farm with 5 dogs, 3 cats, 7 horses, 18 goats and 4 chickens. She is pictured here with Bullseye one of her dogs.  When not working her family is on the soccer field or preparing to show or showing goats.  

Kristin , RVT

Treatment Team Manager

Kristin, a Registered Veterinary Technician joined our team in April 2014. Her favorite thing about being a vet technician is the client education.  She loves helping owners understand what is going on with their pets and how to keep them happy and healthy. One of her favorite things on the job to do is dentistry. She says I love being able to make a difference you can see right away. Instant Gratification! Kristin is a farm girl and has a full one at that!  Two cattle dogs Pete and Mader that are always willing to help with caring for the small goat herd and horses. Alongside her two big dogs, she has a little Chihuahua named Tinker, a rat terrier named Furry and 4 lil countrified kittens (Nubb, Pistol, Bob and Bobby).  If that’s not enough, she also raises chickens, bunnies and one cow!. Outside of work she enjoys riding horses with her husband and sweet 4 year old daughter.  She also enjoys tending to the farm animals as a family.

Maureen , RVT

Registered Veterinary Technician

Maureen, graduated from Central Carolina Community College in 2014 and became a Veterinary Technician that same year. Her favorite this about being a Registered Veterinary Technician is the ability to use her education to educate clients.  Maureen enjoys taking care of hospitalized patients, especially ones recovering from surgery.  She appreciates the special bond they create while in the hospital.  After recovery, she enjoys seeing them reunite and depart with their owners.Her fur family consists of Biscuit, a lab mix, Sophie a maltipoo, Rascal a beagle (alumni from the CCCC program), and Doodles a grey tabby cat.

Currently, she is pursuing a Bachelor's Degree from St. Petersburg College in Veterinary Technology.  She is an active member of World Vets, a non-profit global organization that lends veterinary aid to animals, people and communities.  She recently completed a field project in the Dominican Republic.  Additionally, she is an active volunteer at Red Dog Farm. Maureen holds a position on the North Carolina Association of Veterinary Technicians' executive board. While not at work or volunteering, Maureen enjoys spending time with her husband and teenage daughter Emma outside kayaking, running and hiking.


Veterinary Assistant

Allie a veterinary assistant joined our Gate City team in November 2015.  Currently, she is studying for boards to become a Registered Veterinary Technician.  She is a Pennsylvania native & studied at the Vet Tech Institute of Pittsburgh. She is a huge sports fan & loves spending time with her dog Cappy & 2 cats Olive & Willis (pictured).


Veterinary Assistant

Amber joined our Gate City Animal Hospital team in July 2016. She has 16 years experience in the small animal field of veterinary medicine. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Zoology & an Associates Degree in Animal Science. Before joining our team Amber was a herpetology zoo keeper at the Greensboro Science Center​. When she isn't devoting her time to animals Amber is planning her wedding for next summer, spending time with friends, family, fiance and spreading her love for Christ!


Veterinary Assistant

Jennie joined our Gate City Animal Hospital team in April 2016.  She has been a veterinary assistant for 2 years. She enjoys client education & preventative medicine. She's a mom to a bearded dragon & 2 fish! In her free time she loves to go 4 wheeling & watch football!


Client Services Manager

Lindsey, our Client Services Manager joined the Gate City team in 2009. Lindsey’s favorite part of the job is meeting the new families with their puppies or kittens and watching them grow as she cares for them throughout their years. She enjoys the patient care aspect of the job. She also likes to take dental radiographs which can be quite a challenge! Lindsey’s pet family consists of Titus a rottweiler (the best dog ever, she says!), Maggie old basset hound, Kit the calico, Lego the orange kitty, a beautiful corn snake and 2 little red ear slider turtles.While not at work, Lindsey loves to spend time with her family including her pets, read a good book, and cook something delicious (which Gate City loves at times too).


Client Services / Veterinary Assistant

Jessy joined our Client Services Team at Gate City in November 2015.  She has 2.5 years experience working as a veterinary assistant. She has also has 4 years experience as a member of a maritime search and rescue team. In her free time she enjoys backpacking and mountain biking with her husband Frank and her Border Collie Kylie.



James, our Groomer joined the Gate City Team in December 2015.  He has over 30 years of experience in the grooming industry. He has had the honor of grooming some of the top show dogs including Best in Show Winner at the world famous Westminster Dog Show.   James also enjoys participating in grooming competitions and has won numerous awards including Best in Show at the world famous Groom Expo in Hershey, PA.  In addition to grooming, over the years he has raised Afagan Hounds, Whippets, Smooth Fox Terriers, Manchester Terriers and Shiba Inus, many have earned titles including Best in Show and High in Trials. 


Kennel Manager

Casey, our Kennel Manager joined our team in 2012. She is great with detail and keeping our kennel in pristine condition.  While your pets stay in boarding Casey and her team try to make it as comfortable as possible.  You fur babies are treated like her own.  Her fur babies consist of  Icarus, a rat terrier mix, Nymeria, a lab mix, Vega and Muta her kitties.  Casey and her husband enjoy spending time with family and friends


Kennel Assistant

Baily, joined our team in April 2016.  She has over 6 years of working experience in the veterinary kennel environment.  While working with pets she shows great compassion and care.  Her pets consist of an adopted breaded dragon Captain Mushu Hook, a crested gecko and 2 frogs. 



Kennel Assistant

Christina, joined our team in March 2016.  She is a graduate of Animal Science program at Alamance County Community College.  While working with our patients she is so patient and kind with them all. Her fur family consists of Marley, a lab mix and Checkers, the black & white cat pictured with her.   Away from work she enjoys reading, sports & spending time with family.
